Acknowledgments

Both the exhibition Works in Progress: Original Materials from the Netherlands and this website have benefited from the work and expertise of many important contributors. The thematic development of the exhibition and research project was guided by conversations with Picker Art Gallery curator Dr. Nicholas West, and Colgate University professors Dr. Carolyn Guile, Dr. Patricia Jue and Dr. Judith Oliver. The installation and aspects of exhibition design were done by preparator Scott Lewis with the assistance of curatorial assistant Carin Wolfe. Public engagement strategies and materials for the exhibition and website were developed by assistant educator Njeri Jennings. Collections manager Susanna White and assistant registrar Angela Wilde facilitated the logistics of the materials included in the exhibition and access to digital content for the website. Administrative assistant Michelle VanAuken has been responsible for the design and distribution of promotional materials and event planning associated with the exhibition. Curatorial interns Elise Kennedy ’21 and Laura Macias ’21 each assisted with the research and writing of an entry for this website.

This website was designed and created by curatorial assistant Carin Wolfe in collaboration with Kress Interpretive Fellow Suzanne van de Meerendonk. Its development has benefited from the work and expertise of student intern Tamar Japaridze ’21, instructional designer Dr. Christine Moskell, and accessible technology & government documents librarian D Krahmer.

The exhibition Works in Progress: Original Materials from the Netherlands and the development of this digital resource have been generously supported by the Kress Foundation.
